New VMware Press books!

September 19, 2012

A whole heap of new titles have been released by VMware Press.  Watch a video of Eric Sloof interviewing some of the authors at VMworld 2012 San Francisco here.

Below is a listing of the the books with links to Amazon UK.  The books are also all available on Safari Books Online which looks like an interesting option if you are a big reader…the site also has books from Cisco Press, Microsoft Press, SAMS, Sybex and O’Reilly.

CURRENTLY AVAILABLE

Administering VMware Site Recovery Manager 5.0

Michael Gordon Laverick

ISBN: 0321799925

Automating vSphere with VMware vCenter Orchestrator

Cody Bunch

ISBN:  0321799917

Storage Design and Implementation in vSphere 5.0

Mostafa Khalil

ISBN:  0321799933

Note: This book is currently referenced on both the Amazon UK web site and the VMware Press web site as both “Storage Implementation in VSphere 5.0” and “Storage Design and Implementation in vSphere 5.0”.  Whatever the exact title, the ISBN number (and therefore the book!) are exactly the same.  Images of the book always seem to show “Storage Implementation in VSphere 5.0” which I will presume is the correct title.  This is a little confusing as the author is working on a second volume of this book, this, however does not currently appear on any web sites.
